Our approach
Controls built around billing work.
Practical rules for access, credentials, data handling and day-to-day operations.
Healthcare Data Responsibility
Billing data is health data. Protecting it is part of every task we do, from the first login to the last report.
Access Controls
Access to systems and data is limited to authorized team members and scoped to what each role needs.
Workstation Security
Our team works on secured workstations that follow written security rules.
Credential Management
Logins are issued and stored securely. Nobody shares passwords.
Least Privilege
Permissions start at the minimum needed for the work, which limits who can see what.
Staff Access
Team access is granted by role and adjusted when responsibilities change.
Data Handling
Protected health information is used only as needed for billing work, following written handling rules.
Incident Response
If something looks wrong, there is a written plan for spotting it, escalating it and fixing it.
Business Associate Agreements
We sign a Business Associate Agreement with every client before we access any patient information.
Security Reviews
We review our security practices regularly so they keep up as the work changes.
HIPAA
What our HIPAA Compliant badge means
The government doesn't issue HIPAA certificates, so any company can put the word on its website. This is what stands behind ours.
- Written privacy and security policies our team follows day to day
- A named person responsible for privacy and security
- HIPAA training for everyone who works on client accounts
- A documented risk analysis of how we store and access data
- A signed Business Associate Agreement with every client, before we see any patient data
Want to see any of this before you sign? Ask, and we'll walk your compliance lead through it.
Business Associate Agreements
Where we act as a business associate to your practice, a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) governs the relationship. It spells out who is responsible for what around protected health information, and it is signed before any work with patient data begins.
What we don't claim
We only show badges we can back up, and we don't claim certifications we don't hold. The specific security controls and contract terms for your account are agreed and written down during onboarding.
A note for website visitors
This website is for general information and questions only. Please don't send patient information, medical records, insurance details or any other protected health information through the contact form or by email. We set up secure channels for PHI during onboarding.
